is not a game fuck this game
I zipped it up. omfg I'm done.
Anyone know how to package up a unity game into one file for the upload to the website?
Should I just put it in a zip file?
Game's Uploaded. Looking forward to seeing this and everybody else's work at the emporium :)
RE Exiting: Our launcher will start / kill games. You can add an exit in your menus if you want, it'll just bounce back to the launcher.
Also, here is an update... https://twitter.com/werlkjh/status/287778048475029504/photo/1
OK, good to know.
Also wondering about GK's questions: "How is exiting the game bring handled? Do we need an exit button?"
@werlkjh It may be difficult at this moment as the machine is floating around being painted and the final public prep is being done. We're going to try running every submission and if any issues pop up we'll let you know.
Is there any chance we can get time to play our game on the actual machine to make sure everything is working properly? My main concern is that my audio is not loud enough because I have no idea what your speakers will be like...
RE: Mouse cursor. I don't believe we plan on suppressing the cursor in any way so it if want it hidden / visible, that'll be on the developer's side.
Peoples, follow #sixpackgamejam on twitter for related tweets.
Also, here is the button layout image with no button text on it, so you can add your controls... https://twitter.com/werlkjh/status/287657240922574848/photo/1
Thanks. Apparently I didn't look to closely there.
GK, the rules state that the trackball will map to the mouse, so at the very least you could map a graphic to that for your own custom mouse cursor, if you like.
Will the mouse cursor be available? How is exiting the game bring handled? Do we need an exit button?
New update! I'm excited! Does anyone else have any updates?
@Phil Tibitoski Thank you :)
Here is approximately what our "main character" will look like: https://twitter.com/werlkjh/status/286314178434695169/photo/1/large
@patach Those look really nice!
Some Art Assets I'm working on for this project. Hopefully we'll be able to get this done on time. http://cattrigger.com/blog/?p=821
Added a screenshot of my thing on twitter. If I can make something out of this in like 8 days, then I'll submit it. Woo! https://twitter.com/i/#!/werlkjh/media/slideshow?url=pic.twitter.com%2FB6MhrDuF
Is an in person jam happening?
It's arcade-grade heavy. 3 is tight but doable I think. Depends on who's playing I suppose.
And secondly, is the trackball on the heavier - 1992 "Golden Tee Golf" side or more on the lighter "trackball mouse" side.
two quick question is the cabinet wide enough to fit 3 people (2 people manning the joysticks, one person manning the trackball)
If you're working with Adobe Flash, be sure to either capture or surpress right click.
